LumiID Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LumiID services, you agree to comply with these Terms, follow all applicable laws including NDPR, and maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials. If you do not agree, do not use LumiID services.

2. Services Overview

• Identity verification and validation for individuals and businesses
• API services for enterprises to integrate verification workflows
• Wallet and payment-related services for users
• Fraud prevention and KYC/AML compliance solutions

3. User Accounts

• Users must be 18 years or older to create an account
• Maintain confidentiality of account credentials
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Accounts violating these Terms may be suspended or terminated

4. Acceptable Use

• Do not use services for unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious purposes
• Do not interfere with other users or disrupt the platform
• Do not attempt unauthorized access to accounts or services
• Do not collect personal data from others without consent

5. Intellectual Property

All content, software, branding, and data in LumiID are owned by Ezydevs Technologies or its licensors. Copying, modifying, distributing, or creating derivative works is prohibited without written permission. Trademarks and logos are property of Ezydevs Technologies.

6. Payment and Fees

• Certain services may require payment processed through licensed providers (e.g., Paystack)
• Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified
• We may update fees and notify users in advance

7. Data Protection and Privacy

By using LumiID, you consent to our Privacy Policy. Your personal data is processed in compliance with NDPR and applicable laws. Users have rights to access, rectify, erase, and control the processing of their data.

8. Third-Party Services

LumiID may integrate third-party services (e.g., verification APIs, payment processors). We are not responsible for errors, downtime, or breaches from third parties. Use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

LumiID is provided “as-is.” We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from service use. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for services in the 12 months preceding a claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ezydevs Technologies, its affiliates, and employees from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your breach of these Terms, violation of laws, or misuse of LumiID services.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations or harmful conduct. Certain obligations like confidentiality and indemnification survive termination.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes should first be resolved through negotiation, then by the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts if necessary.

13. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect legal, technical, or business changes. Significant updates will be communicated via email or platform notifications. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
